Teen Therapy in Santa Clarita

Being a teenager today is a lot. School pressure, social media, friendships, identity, and big feelings can pile up fast, and sometimes teens don't have the words for what's going on.

Have you noticed your teen spending more time alone in their room, avoiding friends, being hard on themselves, or getting into more arguments at home? Those can be signs they need more support, and you don't have to wait for things to get worse to reach out.

What We Help Teens With:

  • Anxiety, stress and panic

  • Depression, low mood or feeling unmotivated

  • School pressure and burnout

  • Friendship and relationship struggles

  • Self-esteem and confidence

  • Identity and figuring out who they are

  • Big life changes like moves, divorce or loss

  • How Therapy Works for Teens

Your teen meets one-on-one with a therapist who gets this age and works to build real trust. Sessions are 45 to 60 minutes, in person at our Newhall office or by video.

We believe in a team approach between parent, teen and therapist. Your teen gets a private space to talk openly, and you get support and guidance as a parent. Together we help your teen build coping skills, communicate better and feel more secure in who they're becoming.

Parents Are Part of This Too

Watching your teen struggle is hard. We check in with parents, help you understand what's going on, and give you tools to support your teen at home without taking over.

Questions Parents Ask

Will my teen actually talk?

Many teens are nervous at first. Our therapists work to make sessions feel low-pressure and real, and most teens open up once they feel understood rather than judged.

What will you tell me about their sessions?

Teens need privacy to trust their therapist. We'll explain how confidentiality works at the start, including what we share with parents and when, especially around safety.

Can therapy be free?

Students in California may qualify for therapy at no cost through the state's school-based mental health program. We check eligibility before the first session. We also accept Aetna, Cigna, Kaiser, Medicare and Medi-Cal.
