Waitlisted for months, or stuck with virtual-only? We have room for your kid.

If your child has been waitlisted, or sent to an online-only therapy platform that isn't working for them, we hear you. Parents tell us this every single week.

The good news

Here's the good news. We now have enough therapists to see your kid. We have openings in person at our Newhall office, and telehealth if that works better for your family.

How cost works

Therapy is often no-cost here. Through a California state-funded partnership that exists to increase access to care for young people, kids, teens and young adults 25 and under may qualify for therapy at no cost, with no copays or out-of-pocket expenses. We're one of only three standalone practices in California in this partnership. We see children across multiple counties, and we've helped families in rural communities get care they couldn't reach before. That's the part of this work we're most passionate about.

If you have a high deductible and you're trying to find any way to get your child help without a financial strain, this is for you.

A real fit

We take the time to understand what you're looking for and work to place you with a therapist who fits. You get the personal, boutique feel of a small practice for little to no cost out of pocket.

What to do first if your child has been waiting

You have already done the hard part by asking for help. Here is a simple path. Text us at 661-383-2252 and tell us a little about your child and what has been going on. Let us know how long you have been waiting and whether you tried an online-only platform. We will tell you what is open, check eligibility and coverage, and help you choose between in-person and video.

What we will ask you

Expect a few friendly questions: your child's age, what you have noticed, what you are hoping will change, and what has or has not worked so far. We also ask about schedules, since that shapes which therapist and time slot will fit. You do not have to have everything figured out. Rough answers are fine.

What if online-only did not work?

For many kids, a screen is not the right setting, especially younger children who do better with play, drawing and a calm room. Others simply miss the human feel of being in the same space. If video did not click, that is useful information, and it is a perfectly good reason to try in person.

While you get started

Keep routines steady, share the plan with your child in simple, calm language, and let them know a real person is on the other side. A short note about what you have noticed, such as sleep, mood or school changes, will help your therapist get oriented.

Questions parents ask

How quickly can we begin? Many clients can begin quickly. Text us to hear what is open.

What does it cost? Clients 25 and under may qualify for no-cost therapy even with insurance. We also work with several insurance plans, and our client care coordinator checks coverage before the first session.

Can we meet first? Yes. We offer a free 15 minute consult.

If you ever feel your child may be in danger, call or text 988 or call 911.

We get it

Many of us are parents too. We know how hard waiting is, and we don't want that for anyone. Taking a child off a waitlist who has been waiting for months is one of the happiest parts of our job.

No long waitlists. No confusing systems. We've got you.

Text us at 661-383-2252 and we'll walk you through it.
